Tours with Ride Portugal Moto: For all tours, it is necessary to sign a rental contract for the use of the motorcycle. This contract is concluded with Ride Portugal Moto, and it is necessary that the driver is legally authorized to drive the vehicle in which the tour takes place. The rental fee is already included in the price of the tour.

It is mandatory to make a security deposit to rent the motorcycle. The values of the security deposit can be found in the rental conditions and in the rental contract.

Security Deposit: For each motorcycle rental a security deposit must be left as a credit authorization at the beginning of the rental, on the customer’s credit card. You can view the security deposit amounts in the rental conditions.

The security deposit is the maximum amount payable by the customer in the event of damage to the motorcycle. At the end of the rental contract, compensation for any damage to the motorcycle will be deducted from the security deposit, and the remainder will be returned to the client. If there is no damage to the motorcycle, the deposit will be returned to the client in full.

If an accident is to be reported to the insurance company, the client’s entire security deposit will be withheld until the matter is resolved.

After insurance inspection and determination of responsibility and repair costs, the difference in the security deposit will be refunded to the customer (if applicable).

Ride Portugal Moto has no obligation to replace a damaged motorcycle in case of a fall or accident.

The rental period will not be shortened or interrupted due to the client’s inability to ride.

Ride Portugal Moto attaches great importance to the safety of all participants. Any use of the motorcycle in a reckless manner that does not comply with the traffic rules and/or the rules of the tour, will not be tolerated, and will result in the immediate suspension of the participant from the tour.
